COLPEX has two fish oil laboratories, one in each facility. Both are run by independent analysts and experts in this field. This guarantees the impartiality and consistence in all the results and quality control analysis, and assures strict quality measures in each stage. Both laboratories are fully equipped and are the first control step for all the oils manufactured and exported by this company.

The oils are also tested for contaminants presence, according to maximum limits and standards established by the European Union. These special analyses are tested in US and Canadian laboratories that specialize in the field and also have the lower detection limits.

COLPEX controls each step of its supply chain. The crude oil is bought from the local fisheries and transported with COLPEX’s own truck fleet. Each crude oil lot is tested and approved prior to receptions and storage.

The refining process is done under strict quality control measures and in comply with GMP and HACCP standards.

This way, the company controls its whole process and supply chain, from the raw material origin up to the packing of the finished product.
