LABORATORY
The laboratory set up in Supe is run and administrated by INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES PERU; an independent and internationally recognized laboratory. It is fully equipped for all fish oil testing, both crude and refined, including the essential fatty acids profile determination using gas chromatography methods.

REFINERY
Supe was the chosen location for the refining facility built up during 2008.
The refinery produces both semi refined and fully refined oils, using anchovy crude oil with high Omega 3 content as raw material.
It uses a continuous refining process that involves four production stages: Refining, Bleaching, Winterization and Deodorization; and has a 40MT/day output capacity.
The facility is GMP and HACCP approved and certified, and validated for direct human consumption products. It is also in comply with the latest European Union regulations regarding the fish oil intended for human consumption. It is listed on the SANCO web site under Approval Code No. P201-SUP-BIOP.

LOADING PORT
This fish oil loading port (berth) has a 17.00m sea water draft which allows practically unlimited capacity vessels to be received and loaded. It is a customs official and authorized warehouse where COLPEX and other fisheries load their crude oil.
